Parking Lots as Canvas – IMadonnari Street Painting

Painting in the hot sun in the Santa Barbara Mission parking lot was a great way to spend Memorial day weekend.  This year was the 25th Anniversary I-Madonnari Italian Street Painting in Santa Barbara.

Here are my sketches for this past weekends event in S.B. The first one is theSecret Geometry compositional layout from Da Vinci’s “Mona Lisa” I borrowed for my underlying frame work. The pencil sketch is how all the parts fit in and line up from her eye or Heart of Fire Rose. She’s the Lady Saint of the Harvest from the Church of Guadalupe ( I made up for my sponsor The Berry Man ). Thanks for all the support & friends who came out.
